The Scoop: Erick Arc Elliott

I can remember a friend of mine putting me on to Erick Arc Elliott about a month ago, and I was immediately attracted to the style and the music. Hailing from East Flatbush, Brooklyn, the rapper, producer, and graphic designer (yep, all three) is part of a larger collective called The Love Inus. Erick released his "Almost Remembered" project back in July, but after doing some more digging, I learned that this is actually his fourth album. Elliot gives you some tales about being yourself, and alot of it has a message. That doesn't mean that it's preachy or whiny however. His lastest shows how he's learned to carve his own sound and lane and he knows what he wants. The music itself and not just the rhymes are just on another level of a killer sound.

If this guy doesn't make it in the near future, I'd be totally surprised. Before he does though, here are the links to his latest project, "Almost Remembered". Now you can say you were there before everybody else. "laughs".
